Owing to last year's official time of 2:41:02 I earned the privilege of registering for the 2014 Boston Marathon. When I got this in the mail yesterday it provided a nice little jolt of motivation. 11/4/13 is 24 weeks out from Boston (4/21/14), giving me plenty of time to build up.
I intend to update this blog weekly detailing my training, my diet, and my supplemental work (plyos, weights, stretching, etc). I'll also incorporate some of my views on training, physiology, nutrition, and random musings that come with spending lots of time in one's own head.
